Main Title Sequence
Eight celebrities (YouTube and traditional talent) with no climbing experience attempt to climb Mt. Tocllaraju (20,000 ft) in Peru. The risks and dangers are real: Mt. Tocllaraju claimed 8 lives in 2017. Each celebrity is climbing their own “personal mountain” within, learning to conquer their own personal fears and exceed their limits.
OUR biggest challenge was in finding quality footage of the participants that would ideally match the storyboard, without being too shaky. Most of the footage, other than some beautiful drone shots, had a handheld quality and were too shaky to use even with post-stabilization, due to there being no camera dollies at 19,700 FT. Props to the camera crew and the porters who had to lug the heavy equipment up the mountain.

Main Title Style Frames
CONQUER YOURSELF. Monumental / Aspirational / Symbolic. This concept incorporates dynamic use of color to symbolize the internal struggles the participants face as the looming mountain they endeavor to conquer comes to represent their own limits, dreams and fears. Isolated photography and big, bold color combine to form a focused narrative that illustrates the individual struggles faced by the travelers during this expedition.
