“Memory is malleable. Most witnesses distort the truth without realizing. Trust nothing and no one, especially yourself.” “Details matter.” - Rufus Cotesworth
In this concept we see the recreation of locations, people, and details through a representation of Imogene’s mind’s eye. With so little evidence and only unreliable memories, testimonies, and lies to depend on, can she discover the truth? Pay close attention to catch the numerous clues and edited memories sown throughout. Things are not always what they seem. Reminiscent of famous Italian photographer, Luigi Ghirri, we sought to reframe the mundane and make the familiar seem strange to question the relationship between fiction and reality.
My roles include creating the concept, designing, animating, and art directing.

The Collier family mansion was the scene of a horrific tragedy. The show's production couldn't provide us with the 3D render of the exterior at the time, so we used photographs of the miniature dollhouse version of the mansion, found in the playroom scenes within the show. The rest of the scene was built using stock assets and textures. The far off mansion surrounded by darkness, storm clouds, and a vast empty field highlights the anguish and isolation felt by young Imogene, depicted as a small silhouette near the fire. An adult figure next to her fades away leaving young Imogene alone, symbolizing abandonment and loss. A suspicious truck to the left is shown fleeing the scene.
